FAQ

How do I book?

Please email hello@westsidecatconcierge.com with your name,  neighborhood/general area in LA, desired booking dates, and details about your cat. From there, we'll book a complimentary meet-and-greet.


If everything seems like a good fit after the meet-and-greet, you can book me by email or text (or directly in person!)


Once we confirm details, I will send you an invoice (payment is due by the first day of the booking).

What are "Holiday rates", and when do they apply?

Holiday rates are slightly higher prices for bookings that fall during busy travel times. The 2025 dates include:


  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan 17–20
  • Presidents’ Day: Feb 14–17
  • Memorial Day: May 23–26
  • Juneteenth Weekend: Jun 19–22
  • 4th of July: Jul 4–6
  • Labor Day: Aug 29–Sep 1
  • Thanksgiving: Nov 27–30
  • Christmas & New Year’s: Dec 24–Jan 1, 2026


If your booking overlaps with any of these dates, the holiday rate will apply to the entire stay (even if only part of it falls during the holiday).

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, I am insured and bonded for your peace of mind through Pet Sitters Associates. (Policy information available upon request.) 

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Full Refund: Cancel at least 24 hours before the start of your booking for a 100% refund.
  • Partial Refund: Same-day cancellations (on Day 1 of your booking) are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Late Payments: To secure your reservation, invoices must be paid in full within 72 hours of the invoice date. Unpaid bookings are not guaranteed and may be released to other clients.
  • Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Do you work with security cameras inside and outside the house?

Yes! Just let me know during the meet-and-greet so I'm aware.

Who is your go-to emergency vet?

For emergencies, I recommend Culver City's ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospitals at 9599 Jefferson Blvd.


If anything arises during a booking, I can take your kitty to the vet (normal rates apply). Please provide your preferred vet information during or after the meet-and-greet.

Do you care for special needs pets? (Senior, sick, disabilities, etc.)

Yes, I have experience caring for senior cats, kitties with chronic conditions, and those with physical or medical needs. I’m comfortable administering most oral (pill pockets or direct) and topical meds as directed.


However, I do not administer injections and am unable to give pills to cats who are highly resistant or extremely difficult to medicate. For the safety of your cat and myself, please be transparent about your pet’s temperament and history with medication during our intake process.

Do you care for dogs? What about any other animals besides cats?

I love dogs! However, I'm not a dog expert. But I'd be happy to refer you to qualified dog sitters that you can trust! 


I am open to working with smaller animals on a case-by-case basis, such as turtles and fish. (But no snakes, please!)
